Mobile t‑shirt bar pricing, without the tap dance

You should not need a discovery call to learn roughly what this costs. Here are the anchors we quote from, and exactly what moves the number up or down.

Staffed bar, local

from $5,000

The typical starting point for a fully staffed bar in Orange County, LA, or San Diego: crew, press station, menu board, blanks, artwork prep, setup, and teardown. Most 3–4 hour events with 150–300 guests land near this anchor.

Crew time

$250/hr

Staffing bills by the hour and includes setup and teardown time, not just service hours. A 3-hour service window is usually a 5–6 hour staffing day once load-in and load-out are counted.

Travel

$900 flat

Zero inside OC, LA, and San Diego. The flat fee covers Las Vegas and similar drives; multi-city tours and fly-out dates get routed and quoted individually so you are not paying invented mileage math.

What moves your quote

Guest count and pace. One press serves roughly 40–60 shirts an hour. If your crowd will outrun that, we add a second press and operator rather than letting a 40-minute line eat your event.

Shirt quantity and blank choice. Shirts are part of the quote, so quantity matters more than almost anything else. Upgrading from a standard blank to premium or ladies’-cut mixes shifts cost per unit modestly.

Hours on site. A farmers market morning is a different day than an 8-hour festival. Longer windows mostly add crew hours at the flat rate above.

Design menu size. More designs means more transfer production up front. Six options is the sweet spot; past twelve, guests slow down at the board more than the press slows down at the platen.

What is never on the invoice

No per-color art fees, no screen charges, no “equipment rental” line stacked on top of staffing, and no surprise fuel surcharge inside Southern California. The quote you approve is the number you pay unless you change the scope.
